Had an excellent time shooting from the runway 27L spot at O'Hare.  The weather was perfect, great sunlight.  So I'll share some of the good stuff seeing how no one has yet covered ORD on here...

The Evergreen & Cargo 360 both came from ANC, and the United is a mystery.  The Evergreen bird is an ex-Delta 747-132.

United gave me an extra hour to take pictures earlier this month. No charge!  Grin

Here is a United Express Regional Jet getting ready to take off while I wait for a new aircraft to replace the one that we got on an hour late, then had to get back off again...

Didn't catch the tail number on it and it doesn't have a forehead number either, like most of them do.

Not sure why I haven't ever put any up on this page so here are a few from various times and locations.

Nice shot Ivan.  Were you on 294 when you took that?

No, there's a 10-story parking garage off of des plaines river road a bit north of lawrence. It belongs to some hotel. I was on the top floor.

I can't believe how much has changed since this thread was made, even with it being just five years old.  Evergreen doesn't have any 747-100s in cargo service, Cargo 360 is gone, BMI no longer comes to ORD, JAL got rid of all their 747's, the battleship scheme is gone...
