Nice shots Michael! That AF 777 is real nice! Also, did you know you can link your shots back to their Flickr page? Then people can click on them to see the shot bigger, comment, etc.

Nice shot! I'm glad someone got the DC-9! I saw it on Flight Aware, but was too far away by the time I got the info. Did you by any chance also get the National 744 that came in earlier this morning (11-19)?

Here are a few from yesterday 11-18-12.

Those little 9's fly in and out of RFD all the time. We also get some old school 727s to boot. Not 100% sure but I hear they're making runs from Detroit to RFD delivering car parts for Chrysler.

RFDGuy you heard right, as most of the recent area cargo DC-9s are flying in car parts. Most flights originate in Mexico however, and not Detroit. At least one airline has flown several of those car flights into DPA, which is cool to hear given that airports lack of any other commercial service.

I went back to my archives. This was taken back in 2011. For whatever reason, this was operating as a Cargolux flight, and was listed as a 744 on flight trackers.  I was certainly surprised to see this on approach!

Finally, barring anything crazy coming in the next few weeks, here is my catch of 2012. I love SP's, so I was really excited to see one for the first, though likely last time.
