Just one somewhat somber addition to this collection. Several weeks ago I shot my first UPS A300 in flight, and just 5 weeks after that date, she was tragically lost with her 2 pilots in Alabama.

Thank you! Lake Hood really cannot be recommended enough, while it may not have the pointy noses and afterburners that so many seek out, it is definitely a place where one can get up close to a kind of unique type of aviation, that's for sure.

Found a few more that I liked

Yes. They use the Military Aviation Museum's double decker bus. I believe they run through the end of this month.

Hi FC'ers,
We are looking good for a great event this year at EAA 96.  We are the Los Angeles South Bay area chapter and take great pride in the special opportunities we can offer at CPM.  New this year will be a photo opportunity in a Navy SNJ.  We encourage anyone who wants to fly-in to arrive before 1000L, weather permitting.  Admission at the gate is $3 with special promotional offers on our Facebook page.  All fly-in participants gain free admission.

We hope to see some of you there on September 14.

That's freaking awesome looking, Skys7

My Battalion has been tasked with fast emergency relief response for the next few months. Although, obviously, I do not wish any natural disasters on anyone anywhere, the reality is, there will be fires and most likely a hurricane or 2 that we will end up responding to (with 2 blackhawks and 1 chinook most likely) somewhere in the country. I am not sure if I will end up on this assignment, but chances are good. I hope that, if we end up having to respond, that I can produce a few good photos of our birds doing work, as well as some other aircraft working hard
