Kinda sad to not have a media day, but I'm OK with that, BUT to make the Media lug all our gear through the Speedway??? NOT GOOD  Head Against Wall

Maybe, but the photo pit really isn't that special if you like to move around and media center really doesn't make that much of a difference. Maybe it's just me Undecided

I know the 2007 show was really special because of the Air Force 60th anniversary, but looking through the schedule for the 2008 show I have to say I think it is a bit thin.

I am disappointed that there isn't any Predator or other drone demos, like they had in 2007. I was also hoping for a B-2 flyby and it isn't listed.

Now without there going to be a media day and the fact that they hope to have all flying wrapped up by about 3 p.m. each weekend day, I hope I am not going to be too disappointed in this show. After all, I am flying out to Nevada from Atlanta, just for the show.

Oh well, at least I won't have to be escorted to the bathroom or made to pay an extra $1 for water on media day...

Disappointing news, although I did get the feeling that media were barely tolerated rather than actively welcomed last year, so these changes aren't really surprising.

Where was the photo pit located?  After a taste of photographing outside the Speedway and Cheyenne Road, I am considering doing one day one of those spots.

So that list is final? I hope not. Please tell me I'm gullable and it is still being constructed.

Hmm, not a very large list of demos. I'm starting to think I'm going to pass this year.  Undecided It would be nice to get the Raptor in some nice Nevada sunlight, but it looks like the Raptor is going up at 1:45PM.  Embarrassed

Think I am going to do Cheyenne Ave. on Saturday and the show on Sun., maybe vice a versa!  Do you think the FAA/Nellis will clear the RNLAF F16 for Pyro (i.e. Flares) during their demo?  That would be pretty awesome!!  I remember the night show at miramar a few years back when they flew a C-130 straight toward the crowd line and discharged a full load of 300 flares at one time   Drool
