Thanks!

Since you likes the single shot, I'll just throw them all up in a tile just for fun.

Hey, I like that idea of combining the individual shots. I did something similar with the Shuttle landing last June (2007). I might have to revisit that set of pictures since PTGui has improved rather a lot since then, and I've learned rather a whole lot since then. Since I had the ground in view, I made it a panorama type stitch.

Anybody else notice that if you take two rapid fire pictures of an aircraft (or more) as they fly from left to right, that you can cross your eyes and see 3D? Bring up your favorite image browser and because the left and right eye cross, the left to right aircraft pan makes a really easy 3D image viewer. Of course the right to left do that too, but you have to re-arrange the photos to be able to see it properly in 3D with the crossed eye thing. The other reason to use the image browser method is that the pictures tend to be small enough that you don't have to cross your eyes too much to get them to overlap, and any defects in a pair of images (like one is horribly blurry) doesn't show up when they are small.  Smiley

Here is a sample screenshot using Digital Photo Professional from Canon, and then the same aircraft just cut and paste in Photoshop after making the canvas twice as wide. Again with a B-25.

The Corsair on the right is in front of the left one. Impossible to see that until you make it 3D. The one in front should appear slightly in front of your computer screen. Same with the B-25. It should float just above your screen.

Fun stuff!

Well, I just held down the button.   Grin

The camera kept the exposures pretty contstant (I didn't crop the planes out), so I just laid the series of exposures  end to end holding the P-38 flight path contant - which actually occured in the shot.

Just playing around, it is really WAY too busy and the 1st shot doesn't lead in very well.

Trying to have some fun Wink

You've seen the rest, now see... blah, blah, blah.

Missing a few aircraft, but still a great show:

Must be one of the best bomber formations I've ever seen:

This formation was nice, too:

Ex New-Zealand air force veteran (go, Kiwi!):

Lots of low fast passes by Brian Sanders in his immaculate Sea Fury:

Eddie Kurdziel's always a great performer in his Firefly:

Very nice Heritage Flight, hard to find a good angle though:

I'm not usually big on civilian aerobatics, but Hartley Folstad and Margi Stivers did a very nice display:

Ok, finally have some presentable.

Going for something a little different than what has been posted.

BTW-Two of the patches Steve is wearing are for "F-8F Bearcat" and "Photo Fanny".
