 Andre' is correct. It is based at Ellington; N912NA 'NASA 912.' All aircraft based at Ellington have the numeral prefix of '9'. Langley is '5' and Dryden has a mix of '8' and '9'. The T-38's at Ellington are used to keep the astronauts flight time up.

Nice photo, reminds me of how much I hate the new NASA insignia.  Nothing beats the 1980's red lazy-A logo.  That letting ROCKED.

this guy was in from Whiteman, home of the 509th. The funny thing is that Pease used to be home of the 509th BW when the FB-111's were the workhorse of SAC.
