Been out today with a threeship warbirds to support a WW.2 reenactment event close to Neede, the Netherlands.
Piper L-4 and Stinson L-5.

Thanks guys. These warbird guys are not especially flying formation qualified so it can be tough to get something decent but I am satisfied with what I can get at times.  Smiley

i see you all changed the nose art since your last time out with the Stinson. You now have the 101st Airborne patch on the left nose. thats my current unit!  Afro

The L-5 never had any 101st patches on them but the owner is a real Band of Brothers fan. I know there were O-1 Birddogs in Vietnam wearing 101st pacthes but I doubt they had any in WW.2
