Haven't posted in a long time. Offutt is my homebase. Caught this Tinker E-3 on final approach to Offutt yesterday. There were two other E-3s already parked on the transient ramp. Seeing E-3s at Offutt is not uncommon, but I've never seen more than one--three is unprecedented.

4/29/13: Boeing E-3B Sentry, an airborne early warning and control (AWACS) developed by Boeing as the prime contractor. Derived from the Boeing 707, it provides all-weather surveillance, command, control and communications. The 552d Air Control Wing (552 ACW) is an operational wing of the United States Air Force based at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma. Tail Code OK — at Naval Air Station and Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth.
