Would know better if his face were showing a little more - right rank though. He should be training already with the Blues.

OK Tyson...I'm making my debut here.  You've succeeded in getting me to "come out of the closet" and to work on my arms more the next time I'm at the gym!!!

First...nice shots from the events!!!  Once I figure out how all of this stuff works, I'll post some of my own pics.  Just remember that I probably have a few of you that I can also use as blackmail.   Smiley  Please be kind.

The people in the khakis are the new Blues.  The guy having a book signed is either going to be the new #5 or #7.  He's really nice, and we talked for a long time.  Unfortunately I don't remember his name...just too many people to meet that weekend.

On a different note, for those of you that follow air shows in Detroit, I have bad news.  Last night the Yankee Air Museum at Willow Run burned to the ground.  They saved a few of the planes but the hangar and contents were destroyed.

This might help figure out who the "khakis" are.  The new team is listed.

Thought that was him.

Flygal - Bunza's name is Ted Steelman. Met him in Abbotsford - he and Cosmo were flying the super hornet demo.

Man!  Now I'm really bummed...didn't know that was him!  Just thought it was some NPS guys.

Kris, welcome aboard!  Your arms are just fine, let 'em be!

Tyson,

Unfortunately, you're not wearing a helmet with the visor down and an oxygen mask Wink...

Great pics though! Like the taxiing shot of the Blues, but really they're all great! And Butch Voris, great to see him enjoying himself, still going strong almost 50 years on Afro!

OK, so Oceana was great, but still would have loved to see the Blues (or the Snowbirds for that matter!)  Envy. Nice uhm... spectators as well! Somehow I get the impression I need to look at ground level more often, not (only) to the skies!

Thanks for the warm greetings!   Smiley

I look forward to meeting many of you in the future.  Getting to know other photographers also makes the shows much more interesting.

I'm assuming you went out to Moffett Road for those?

The top shot was late in the day from Alisal Rd, in some cold dusty field, the other ones from Moffet Rd, as far down as the Police would let me go.
