Hey guys,

Would anybody around Indiana want to do a"photo-call" at Fort Wayne International?   The Indiana Air National Gaurd has a bunch of Vipers up there, and I've only seen a few pics of them on the site.  Would anybody be willing to go some day this summer and shoot the Vipers up there?  I've never done a photocall so I don't know much about how to set one up.  I'd love to do one at FWA, but I don't know how many other FC'ers are near Indiana.

I'd really like to do this, is anyone up for it?  If there's enough people coming, I can get us a tour of the top T-6 Texan restoration shop around, if anybody would be interested in that...

I'm ready to go, are you? Cheesy Grin Azn

I have all summer, so dates don't really matter. O, and, Indiana, just look for a big cornfield, that's us.

I too may be interested as well.  It's a 10 hour drive from Little Rock, but depending on when the photocall is (a UTA weekend for instance) I would be able to swing that.

Please remember the guidelines for these kind of events.  Please contact me before contacting anybody at the base, thanks.

Allrighty Fence Checkers, let's try and set up a date for the FWA PhotoCall.  We can always change it, so how does July 21st sound?  It's the 3rd Saturday in the month?  We need to get the ball rolling, and I figured we can play around the middle of the summer.

Any ideas guys?  Let's make this a fun PhotoCall, it's my first, and I'm really looking forward to it! Dance

You can throw out a date, and it isn't bad to have one in mind, but you shouldn't put too much emphasis on a specific date unless PA thinks they can support it.

FYI the 21st is the weekend before Oshkosh, which starts the following Monday.

O boy, might as well move it up a week.  Roger, how do I go about contacting the PA at Fort Wayne to see if this is something that they can handle?

As Roger stated above, please remember to read the guidelines.

...After initial contact by me [Roger] to explain what we're all about, I will hand the PAO over to you, the organizer...

I just noticed that you're only 16.  Sorry, but that's too young to be planning an event like this.  I will add a minimum age to the rules.  If anyone else is interested in taking this one over, please let me know. Would be a good one and Trey can still visit it.

Fort Wayne is just an hour's drive south of Battle Creek.  Anybody go on that photocall and think "Hey, I'd like to lead one of these too?"  Wink

Trey, I hope you understand.  You can still participate in photocalls.  We are discussing an appropriate age limit for organizing these.  Sorry for the disappointment.

Just had a thought, Trey, you were talking about the T-6 shop.  If you want, and if there's somebody who can plan the base visit part, you could organize the T-6 visit, since you seem to have good contacts there.
