Thanks.  Looks like a cool grey day, but any day is a great day for taking pictures!  A few of us are off to Yuma, AZ May 30 and expecting 100F temps.  Ouch.  So, more pictures and maybe a synopsis of the day if you don't mind, tips, tricks and etc.

Dress for the weather! Who ever organized the Yuma Photocall may want to ask public affairs if water will be at hand during the day. Tips and trick.... First, Listen and follow all instructions from any PAO as well as the Photocall Organizer, Be safe! Don't stop shooting! If it moves, spins, turns, opens, close, walks and talks, fly... shoot it. Talk to the ground crew ( if you can) ask questions, Be safe! Last but not least, Public affairs knows that you all can coming to the base, make sure public affairs tell the gate/base security that you have a scheduled base visit.  I sat at the gate and watched the attending members enter the base while the gate guard told me that I ( who has been planning and organizing this for 6 months) was not on the list and had no idea of our base visit. But a quick call to public affairs fix that real fast. Oh, yeah have fun!  Smiley

Here are some of my shots from the BC photocall. Thanks to the men and women of the 110th FW for hosting us, and special thanks to Steve Lewis "FAR148" for organizing and Roger for backing us on the trip.

The Hogs were giving off quite a bit of smoke when they started...something I have never seen them do before (or at least quite like this).

During our tour, we came across an A-10 load crew being tested. The crew was to load the Hog while being watched and later would be graded on their performance. We were very early on, but still interesting.

Several BC Warthogs.
