Thanks for the kind words about my shots, guys, but I wish you'd join Rob and Dave in adding images that outclass mine....

-M.M.

That's the last time I say something nice about your pics, Mark Tongue.

I posted some Dutch Zipper aggressors in from the archives, as I didn't shoot them myself. They won't outclass yours either, but are rare enough, so I thought I'd post them anyway. Apart from that, I already posted my F-18C agressor shots from Oceana CVW8's homecoming in 2006 and the 2006 airshow. I haven't got any others.

Great topic Mark! Missing on your list are at least the "new" 18th AGRS from Alaska. I have been told that some of their jets will receive a nice snow camo  Drool
Anyway, haven't seen those yet but I will kick of my contribution with some Fallon birds.

Cheers,

Frank

Some great contributions so far, but none yet in December.  We can't already be running out of steam, can we?

To keep things rolling, here are a few German AF MiG-29s taking part in Maple Flag in 2001.  As realistic as adversary aircraft get -- or got!

Hi all

Also the Japanese Air Force uses agressor aircraft. They have 8 F-15DJ's based at Nyutabaru Airbase in the south of Japan. Each aircraft has a different colour scheme. Now you know where Nellis 65th AGRS got the idea from  Dance Grin

Here a few pictures of those beautiful birds, which I took in 2002. Since then the colours on the aircraft have changed again, so I want to go back next year!

Click on the pictures to enlarge.

An overview of all the Agressor aircraft can be found at http://franknoort.nl/japan
(Select the Nyutabaru page)

Bye for now!
