Couple more.....

1. How sweet would it be to walk out on your patio and see a Bone at eye level?
2. Ritz and Wild at work.
3. The Collaborators

Tricky lighting. I wish they'd start the show at 1 or 2, instead of 11...

Here's the standard Blues diamond shot, and a pair of Collaborators.

Couple of questions about the Blues shot:
- No word at all on why #1 was unmarked?
- Has 4 always been a two-seater?

Three more that could've been better. 200mm just doesn't cut it at this show.  Sad

No, #4 has not always been a two-seater. That one is usually #7. When they have trouble with jets, they swap them out and change the number on the tail. I had heard #4 had trouble and was swapped, then #1 had trouble. They were able to fix #4 and put it in #1's place. The jet switching happens all the time. They come with 7 or 8 jets depeneding on the show and do everything they can to have 6 in the air for the show.

No check this out everyone....on the way home from the show I was chimpin while riding the train....and I found this..
No the Bone didnt have a wing failure...appearantly my camera had some kind of hiccup I guess...just looks crazy. All Ive done to the pic is crop and sharpen a lil bit.

Nice shot!  I wonder if you're seeing the result of the turbulent air from the Bone's wake.   Roiled air refracting the light in weird ways.

I used to be with "it", but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't "it", and what's "it" seems weird and scary to me.

It'll happen to you!
