There's a story behind this photo...

So there I was in St Maarten.. We were scheduled to fly out Thursday afternoon. But once at the gate we found out that the jet was broken (deflated nose oleo). Westjet gave us a voucher for a night at the Sonero Maho Beach Resort and a voucher for a wonderful dinner and breakfast buffet. And an apology!

No worries Westjet! The original plan had us staying at the Toronto airport overnight from 2100 to 0900. With the jet going mechanical, we got to stay an extra night in paradise plus only a short layover at YYZ.

Anyway, this is the rescue jet chartered by Westjet to bring some mechanics down from Toronto to fix our 737.
