Well finished flying at 2pm today so I went home and grabbed my camera and headed off to the airport again. It was very slow, was hoping to catch some action from the 138th but nothing. I got really bored and went home, I was about 10 miles from the airport when I noticed a E-6B turning final for 36R. So I cranked the car around and hauled a$$ to the airport. Can anyone confirm there callsign for me, my tranceiver was low on batteries but I think I heard "Ruff 07 Heavy". According to scramble the E-6B belongs to VQ-3. Over the radio I heard a Jetlink pilot ask tower what type of Air Force plan that was and within a sec. the pilot of the E-6B corrected him by stating "Navy"...pretty funny. Here are some pics from earlier.
Excuse the qual on this pic

They've been working up in the Northwest quite a bit over the last few months.  Guess all the Fairchild and Portland guys are fueling all the big white ones.

Great shots BTW, the TACAMOs really stand out there.

I used to be with "it", but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't "it", and what's "it" seems weird and scary to me.

It'll happen to you!

Here is my contribution to the E-6 forum. This photo was taken on 11 Apr 2005 as it was approaching RWY 35 at Tinker AFB, OK. The red color on the underside of the plane is a reflection of the red clay that is just south of the airfield.
